The Venice High girls soccer team defeated Charlotte 4-1 Tuesday night in Punta Gorda.

The Tarpons jumped out to an early 1-0 lead on a goal by Bryanna Tyre, but it was all Venice from that point forward. Venice scored four consecutive goals, including three in the second half to break a 1-1 tie at intermission.
