Denise A. (Lucier) Salamone, 61, of Alton Bay, N.H., and Venice, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, in Venice.

Born Aug. 3, 1951, in Brockton, Mass., she was the daughter of the late David Lucier, Mary (Daigle) Lucier and Beverly (Colby) Lucier. Raised in Brockton, she was a graduate of Brockton High School in 1969.

Denise enjoyed wintering in Venice, where she worked at Albritton Fruit Company, and she summered in Alton Bay on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire, where she worked at Amy Lynn’s Corner Market.

She enjoyed gardening, cooking, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Derek Salamone and his wife, Andrea, and Brenda Chabot and her husband, Eric; her grandchildren, Shayne, McKenna, Hailey, Ellie and Tyler; her sister, Maureen Kelly and her husband, Larry; her niece, Kate Kelly; and her former husband, Thomas Salamone. She was the companion of Frederick Browning.

Services: Funeral services will be held at 8 a.m. Monday, March 4, at Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., Brockton, Mass., thence to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 439 West St., Brockton, where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 9 a.m. Interment will be private.
