Timothy Paul Mahoney, 53, of Venice, passed away Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013.

Tim attended numerous special-needs schools in northern Illinois and northern Wisconsin, finishing his education at Loveland School. Tim was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Venice for more than 20 years. He enjoyed bowling and music, playing both guitar and drums.

Tim is survived by his parents, Shirley Andersen and Jack (Evelyn) Mahoney; brothers, Patrick Mahoney, of Venice, Michael K. Mahoney, of Wisconsin; sister, Kathleen (Gary) Hendrickson of Venice; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Tim will always be remembered for his love, which he gave unconditionally to everyone he came in contact with.

Services: A celebration of Tim’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at Grace United Methodist Church, 400 Field Ave. Venice. A Memorial Service will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, in Lake Villa and Antioch, Ill.
