Helen A.(Hardison) Gresser, age 90, formerly of Massillon, Ohio, passed away Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, in Naples, Fla.

She was born Jan. 12, 1923, in West Franklin, Maine. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Rosary Altar Confraternity. She was a charter member of Columbian Ladies Guild of the Knights of Columbus and a Knights of Columbus bingo volunteer.

She is survived by her son, Raymond F. Gresser Jr. of Hampden, Maine; daughters, Judith Ernst of Venice, Donna Young of Naples and Jane Gresser of Massillon,Ohio; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas M. and Lillian (Anderson) Hardison; husband, Raymond Gresser Sr.; and four sisters, Eva, Edna, Ruby and Martha.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, at St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. Edward Gretchko as celebrant. Burial followed in Calvary Cemetery.
