Dorothy Marie Douglas, 62, originally from Carlisle, Ohio, residing in Rotonda, Fla., passed away peacefully Monday, Jan. 7, 2013.

Born April 3, 1951, Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Adelia (Yount) and Raymond Call, of Miamisburg, Ohio.

She is survived by her husband, Chuck; son, Robert M. White of Miamisburg, Ohio; sisters: Patty (Taylor) Foster of Manchester, Ky., Suzy (Ed) Mowery of Miamisburg, Ohio, and Tammy (Kirk) Hogg of Germantown, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.

Dorothy retired from LexisNexis in Miamisburg, Ohio, where she served on the board of administrative assistants and United Way campaigns. She was a member of Venice Chapter 758, Women of the Moose, and was invested as the deputy grand regent for the state of Florida 2011-12.

Dorothy was a charter member of the Phi Beta Psi Sorority Beta Sigma Chapter and held the office of chapter president and chapter secretary, earning the National Secretary Award and serving as Florida state president.
