Betty L. Tanis Hibschman Livermore, age 80, passed away Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012.

She was born Feb. 17, 1932, in Wichita, Kan. She graduated from high school in Nappanee, Ind. After her marriage to Robert Hibschman, they lived in Mentone, Ind., where they raised their three daughters. She and Robert moved to Venice in 1971, where she lived until 2006. She was a real estate broker for Michael Saunders & Co. for several years. She later married Norman Livermore of Venice, and shortly after moved to Saltillo, Tenn.

She is survived by her husband, Norman Livermore; and three daughters, Annette Alessi, of Birmingham, Ala., Linda Bowersock, of North Port, and Susan Morello of Waynesville, N.C. She had six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was a longtime member of South Venice Baptist Church.
