Not only are the vehicles part of this transformation but the customers’ importance is recognized with personal recognition by greeters, spacious relaxation lounges and digital waiting areas.
“The day when you received the keys to your new vehicle from a salesman holding an umbrella have long disappeared,” said Eric Calkins, dealership director of Bill Buck Chevrolet. “Today the buyer expects an opportunity to meet the sales managers, relax in a spacious waiting area, have cookies and refreshments and watch flatscreen televisions while children enjoy their own play area.”
