Publix announced two construction projects for Nokomis: a new store anchoring Plaza Venezia at the Pinebrook Road/Laurel Road intersection and, when that’s completed, the demolition and rebuild of the 30-year-old store in the Nokomis Village Shoppes, complete with a pharmacy.
