Lovers of American-style pub food — burgers, fries, salads, fish fries, prime rib — and meals for the health conscious — including seafood salads and veggie burgers — will be glad to know Patrick Liebmann is opening Bayside Grill, 918 South Tamiami Trail, Nokomis, by the end of November.

The building, formerly a bar, has been completely remodeled and now has a fully equipped, modern kitchen. There’s seating for 44 diners, plus 18 bar stools and outside patio seating for 14. There are TVs for sports and a full digital jukebox.
