New city attorney’s contract approved

Attorney David Persson and the mayor of Venice signed a contract this week formalizing Persson’s selection by the city council as the next city attorney.
Persson, of Hankin, Persson, McClenathan, Cohen & Darnell, was the longtime Town of Longboat Key attorney.
