Venice leaders were briefed by lobbyists this week as they put the finishing touches on a list of federal funding priorities.

In past years city council adopted a resolution briefly outlining its concerns. This year it invited its Washington, D.C., lobbying firm, Marlowe & Company, to more fully describe its projects and better gauge its chances of success.
