NORTH PORT — Learning a member of the city’s loan committee recently voted by cellphone during a meeting held at City Hall, North Port City Commissioner Linda Yates believes it’s time to discuss if that practice should even be done among local boards.

Commissioners will discuss the issue at their regular meeting at 1 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall.
