PUNTA GORDA — Michelle Atherley was focused on winning her events at the District 3A-11 championship meet more than specific times or heights. So much so, after her last individual event — the 300-meter hurdles — she had no idea what times she had run.
So the Port Charlotte High School sophomore was unaware she had set a new personal best in the 100 hurdles.
