SARASOTA — When the North Port High School girls soccer team had trouble being aggressive on offense, it found just the spark it needed from an unlikely source.
At the urging of assistant coach Worth David after a sluggish first half, Bobcats coach Lee Thomas put his starting goalkeeper Sierra Jennings up front. The move paid off in a 2-1 nondistrict victory over the host Sailors on Tuesday.
