with grand theft
PUNTA GORDA — A man serving time in the Charlotte County Jail is now facing felony grand theft charges in a North Port Police Department case and fraud charges in Charlotte, according to authorities.
Michael Robert Falzarano, 27, 4200 block of Eastlake Court, Port Charlotte, was arrested Friday for allegedly selling jewelry he stole from his friend’s North Port home, where he was staying. He allegedly sold the items at two Port Charlotte businesses. Falzarano now faces five felony counts of dealing in stolen property and five counts of false verification of ownership according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.
