NORTH PORT — A tractor-trailer jack-knifed on Interstate 75 Wednesday afternoon, slowing southbound traffic for hours. No one was hurt.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, around 2:10 p.m., Rigoberto Gonzalez, 55, of Hialeah, Fla., was traveling south on I-75 between the River Road and Sumter Boulevard exits in the right travel lane. Traffic in front of his semi was slowing for a previous accident at mile marker 173.
