Victor N. Renna, 76, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013, at Tidewell Hospice Inc. in Port Charlotte.

He was born Nov. 20, 1936, in White Plains, N.Y., and moved to Port Charlotte 13 years ago.

Victor was a member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church. He served proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps. Victor was an avid golfer and a member of Riverwood Golf and Country Club in Port Charlotte. Victor was a wonderful husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend; he will forever be missed by all who loved and knew him.

Victor is survived by his loving wife, Florence; son, Joe Renna, of Flanders, N.J.; two daughters, Lisa Dulin and Julie Wheeler, both of New York; two sisters, Rose Ambroselli and Theresa Hull, both of New York; two brothers, Nicholas Renna and Phillip Renna, both of Florida; and six grandchildren, Victoria, Douglas, Alyssa, James Brittany and Nicholas.

A Memorial Mass with military honors will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church. Inurnment will be held at a later date by the family. Friends may visit www.robersonfh.com to sign the memory book and extend condolences to the family.
