Rose D. Mascia, 99, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at her residence.

She was born May 12, 1913, in Beloit, Wis.

Rose moved to Port Charlotte 32 years ago from Massapequa, N.Y. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.

Rose is survived by her sons, Anthony (Patricia) Mascia of Port Charlotte, and Sam (Carol) Mascia of Jensen Beach, Fla.; eight grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent J. Mascia, who passed in 2008.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at Roberson Funeral Home, Port Charlotte Chapel. The Mass of Christian Burial follow at 11 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Port Charlotte. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte.
