Kathryn T. Dunning, 91, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at Peace River Regional Medical Center in Port Charlotte.

She was born March 20, 1921, in Philadelphia, Pa.

Kathryn moved to Port Charlotte in 1979 from Holmes, Pa. She was a longtime and devoted member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Port Charlotte. A beloved wife and mother, Kathryn was a retired secretary from Drexel University in Philadelphia.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Norman J. Dunning; sons, James Dunning of New Orleans, La., and John Dunning of Dunnellon, Fla., and Bristol, Pa.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., with a Catholic Prayer service at 7 p.m., Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at Roberson Funeral Home, Port Charlotte Chapel. There will be a memorial Mass at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow in the St. Charles Memorial Garden.
