Wasyl Bardysch, 93, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012.

He was born Jan. 7, 1919, in Ukraine.

Wasyl was a construction engineer for CBI in Oak Brook, Ill., for 39 years. He retired to Florida from Chicago, Ill., in 1989. Wasyl was a member of St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church in North Port, Fla.

He is survived by his wife, Mariya Radasics of Port Charlotte.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m., with a Panachyda at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, at Farley Funeral Home, North Port Chapel. Services will begin at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, at Farley Funeral Home in North Port, and will continue at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church in North Port. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Illinois.
