Punta Gorda has ‘Segway availability’

Keith Steele, is one of the owners of Segways2U in downtown Punta Gorda. The business offers various Segway rental options, including the opportunity to take part in a Bar Glide every Saturday from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. For $75, it includes the use of a Segway PT, and one drink (draft, wine or well) at each stop.

Punta Gorda is a city with an interesting and fascinating historical past. Its quaint downtown area, filled with bars, restaurants and shops, many within walking distance of each other, attract thousands of visitors every year, especially during the winter months. Now, however, Punta Gorda may have another marketable component to add to its name — the layout of downtown offers “Segway availability.”
