Chamber members stay busy

T he Punta Gorda Chamber of Commerc e’s week kicks off tonight (Jan. 30) with a ribbon cutting at the award-winning Four Points by Sheraton Punta Gorda Harborside, 33 Tamiami Trail, for its Dockside Restaurant.
The festivities start at 5 p.m., with a 5:30 p.m
. ceremony. All are welcome to attend and visit all the amenities that the hotel has to offer.

The fun continues Jan. 31 as the chamber will visit the H.W. Smith Building, located at 121 E. Marion Ave., for the January Corks ’n’ Canvas art entertainment class. The event will start at 6 p.m. and run until 8 p.m., with Bonnie Fulks of the Painted Cabana instructing the group how to paint a specially designed Wine & Jazz Festival glass.
