ARCADIA — Franklin Delano Roosevelt once said, “Happiness lies in the joy of achievement and the thrill of creative effort.”

Judging by the send-off given to DeSoto County Schools Superintendent Adrian Cline at the school board meeting Tuesday, that quote could very well apply to him, as Cline was showered with appreciation, thanks and admiration by the board members and the standing room-only audience who attended Cline’s last meeting as superintendent.
