ENGLEWOOD — The Lemon Bay High School boys golf team couldn’t pick a better time to get hot.

With the District 1A-17 tournament set for Monday, the Manta Rays went out Tuesday and won a three-way match against Port Charlotte and North Port at Rotonda’s Long Marsh course. The Mantas carded a 170 to 180 for the Pirates and 196 for the Bobcats.
