NORTH PORT — Tom Tintor wore a bright blue tie with colorful swirls for his team’s Region 8A-2 semifinal against Riverview. It seemed fitting before the game as the North Port High School girls were enjoying themselves, loose and smiling in warm-up.
A minute into the game’s first overtime period, Tintor took the tie off.
