SARASOTA — The North Port High School girls basketball team fell to Sarasota High School on Tuesday after scoring one first-quarter point in a 47-38 loss to the Sailors.

Sarasota (20-3) was led by senior forward Natasha Wilcox, who started the game with her own 8-0 run. She finished with a game-high 19 points, all in the first three quarters. She also added six steals, which led to many of her points.
