For a week, Santa Claus must play second fiddle to the Florida High School Athletic Association, at least among athletic directors and football coaches and fans.
It will not be sugar plums and candy canes that will be expected, but the first peek at the new districts for football in the state for the next two years. The FHSAA is expected to release its tentative district realignment this week.
