Francis Martin Biescke
Francis Martin Bieschke, 90, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013, at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte.
He was born July 31, 1922, in Aurora, Ill., and moved to Port Charlotte from Naples, Fla., 23 years ago.
Francis was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Navy. He worked for many years as a salesman for Republic Printing Company in Geneva, Ill.
Survived by his wife, Margaret M. Bieschke of Port Charlotte; daughters, Peggy (David) Cinto of Oswego, Ill., Carol McCombs of Sandwich, Ill., and Patricia (Keith) Christ of Winfield, Ill.; son, John Bieschke of DeKalb, Ill.; sisters, Faye O’Bryan, Eileen Simmons, and Claire Messmer; brother, Claude Bieschke; special nephew, Jack (Sally) Simmons of Port Charlotte; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Francis was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy; son, David Bieschke; his parents; and one brother.
There will be a Memorial Mass 11 a.m. Thursday, March 14, 2013, at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church in Port Charlotte. The Rev. Fr. Teofilo Useche will officiate. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Illinois. Friends may visit www.robersonfh.com to sign the memory book and extend condolences to the family.
