William “Bill” Duncan Winchell, 81, passed away Friday, March 1, 2013, at his home in Punta Gorda Isles, Fla., with his family at his side.

He was born in Los Angeles, Calif., Sept. 23, 1931, the son of Ira D. and Florence B. Eller Winchell.

Bill served in the U.S. Air Force from 1950 to 1954. He will be missed by all.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Anita B. Kearly Winchell; sons, William D. (Marybeth Mulvaney) Winchell Jr., and Brian K. (Tamara J. Brown) Winchell, all of Florida; and sister, Georgia Winchell Dyson of California.

Services are private. Arrangements are by National Cremation society of Port Charlotte, Fla.
