Ernest J. Berrisford, 77, of Punta Gorda, Fla., passed away Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at his home.

A longtime resident of Titusville, N.J., he was born March 27, 1935, in Hamilton, N.J., to Barbara and Ernest Berrisford.

A graduate of Ithaca College in Ithaca, N.Y., Ernest was a practicing Physical Therapist for over 40 years before retiring to Florida in 2003.

He is survived by his two sons, Brian and Kevin Berrisford; daughter, Nicole Satterfied; his two beloved grandchildren, T.J. and Taylor Oeinck; brother-in-law, Gerald Kraft; two nieces, Cathy Kraft and Cindy Fine; and two nephews, Jerry Kraft and Gary Kraft. Ernest was preceded in death by his sister, Evelyn Kraft of Buffalo, N.Y.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at Praise Tabernacle in Port Charlotte, Fla. Please contact Kevin_Berrisford@hotmail.com for further details if you plan to attend.
