Alexander Vincent Messier III, 43, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012.
He was born Oct. 9, 1969, in Washington, D.C.
After attending Miami Beach High School and M.D.C.C., where he was elected class president, he began acting with roles in “Holy Man,” “The Versace Murder” and “Miami Vice.” Alex moved to Manhattan, New York City, N.Y., in 2003, to further his acting career. He moved to Port Charlotte in 2012. Alex’s enthusiasm for living life to the fullest included traveling around the world with friends and attending charity functions, as well as high-profile social events in South Beach. His good looks and charming personality made him the center of attention and the life of the party. His loving and giving spirit will be missed by all who truly knew him. You will always be loved!
Alex is survived by his mother, Joyce Megan; grandmother, Catherine Nagle, both of Port Charlotte; aunts, Jan Kennedy of Cedar Edge, Colo., Renee’, Olivia, Jenny and Sarah Messier; uncles, Don Ahern of Cedar Edge, Joe Nagle of Beltsville, Md., and Glenn Messier of Maryland; father, Alex Messier; sisters, Jessica and Sheri Messier; and many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lambert Nagle; and grandparents, Al and Sarah Messier Sr.
Private memorials will follow in Port Charlotte and Annapolis, Md.
Arrangements are by ICS Cremation and Funerals Inc., Harbour Heights, Fla.
