Daniel “Paul” Landry, 72, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012.

He was born July 2, 1940, in Stafford Springs, Conn., the son of Albini and Juliette (nee Gaudet) Landry.

Paul served in the U.S. Army as a Military Policeman. He worked for Pratt and Whitney Aircraft for 30 years, and after retiring, he was a Work Camper in Pennsylvania and Vermont for 10 years. Paul was a member of the American Legion. He was very handy and enjoyed working on cars and any other projects. Paul will be remembered as a quiet, passionate, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all he touched.

He will be greatly missed by his wife and best friend of 48 years, Karen; children, Laura (Art) Gagnon of Arcadia, Fla., Ken (Kristen) Landry of Enfield, Conn., and Lisa (Mike) Parkman of Enfield; siblings, Rose Leduc of Port Charlotte, and James (Celeste) Landry of California; grandchildren, the joy of his life, Ben Landry and Abby Parkman; along with nieces and nephews.
