James L. Roadfeldt, 83, of Punta Gorda, Fla., passed away Monday, Dec. 3, 2012.

He was born Nov. 30, 1929, in Roseau, Minn.

James moved to this area in 1972, from Minnesota. He was the former owner of a Construction Estimator Company in Minneapolis, Minn.

James is survived by his wife of 61 years, Shirley; daughters, Susan (Tony) Peters of Punta Gorda, Cynthia (Anthony) Minks of Hastings, Minn.; sons, Stephen (Victoria) of Dayton, Ohio, Richard (Theresa) of International Falls, Minn.; sister, Lois Mullin-Roadfeldt of Coon Rapids, Minn.; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Memorial donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice Inc., 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL. 34238.

Arrangements were made in Port Charlotte.
