MURDOCK — At next week’s meeting, the Charlotte County Commission will review an energy audit that guarantees savings to cover its cost. However, at Thursday’s preagenda meeting, officials expressed concerns about both the $3.7 million cost and the 15-year length of the proposed energy performance savings contract.
“I’m not in favor of long contracts,” Commission Chairman Chris Constance said. “The important thing is to get the best deal for the taxpayer.”
