Jake Menen has been a valuable performer for the University of North Florida track and field team since joining as a walk-on.

The sophomore placed third in the 400-meter run at the recent Atlantic Sun Conference indoor championships. The Lemon Bay High School graduate set a school record of 48.78 seconds. He ran the third leg of the 4x400-meter relay team that placed second, also in a school record.
