Ask most Southwest Floridians what the weather has felt like the last few days, and chances are they’ll say it’s been chilly.
Ask Charlotte County’s new community services director, Tommy Scott — who recently left freezing temperatures in Boise, Idaho — about Southwest Florida’s weather and he’ll say it’s balmy. In fact, Scott, who officially started his new post on March 4, has been boasting to friends and family back home about just how nice it really is.
