City seeks applicants for Citizen Public Safety Academy

NORTH PORT — There are a number of spots still available in the city’s 2013 Citizen Public Safety Academy, which begins in early February.
“We want about 20 (class members),” said North Port Police Capt. Tony Sirianni. “Right now I think we’ve got eight. We’re hoping for a minimum of 10.”
