Report: Detective admits to handcuffing wife

NORTH PORT — Neighbors from two blocks away called police after hearing a woman scream for help.
What they didn’t know was the victim was a North Port police detective’s wife who was handcuffed and about to be thrown into a swimming pool by her husband during a fight on Saturday.
