Stars rise on roof of Wyvern

The Arts & Humanities Council on Thursday announced the six local celebrities who will be competing in the fifth annual Dancing with the Charlotte Stars fundraiser at a party held on the roof of the Wyvern Hotel. The six stars introduced by event co-chairs Robert Dickinson and Stacy Jones: Bill Klossner, Mike Hearn, Dennis Kirk, Blair Lovejoy, Cheyenne Young and Jessica Boles. They will be teamed with dancers from Florida Dance Workshop, Higher Ground Performing Studio and Arthur Murray Dance Studio for the event, which is scheduled from March 1 at the Charlotte Harbor Event & Conference Center, Punta Gorda.
