Polk County Commissioner Ed Smith wants to know where the activity went and whether that can deal with the obesity problem he says this country has been facing.

“We don’t put an emphasis on physical education. When I went to high school in the Stone Age, when you filled out a schedule you put down physical education, you didn’t even talk about it. Now there are so many ways to get out of physical education, you don’t do it.”
