Exploring state park on Segways improves well-being.
“Get back to nature to get back your health.” Dr. Richard Louv, who calls nature Vitamin N, coined the term nature-deficit disorder in his 2005 book, “Last Child in the Woods.” Now an international movement, it’s all about getting coach potatoes to unplug and get outdoors. Now there’s a new twist. If your adventurous spirit outweighs your stamina for a walk on the wild side, your health will benefit with a glide on the wild side aboard a Segway.
