FORT MYERS — In its first two games at the Queen of Palms tournament, Port Charlotte High School fell behind in the first half and couldn’t recover.
In the seventh-place match Saturday, it was the Pirates who took a large halftime lead. They scored 23 points in the first quarter against Cypress Lake, went up 45-17 by halftime and routed the Panthers 71-48.
