The Eastern Illinois University football team plays at South Dakota State today in a Football Championship Subdivision first-round playoff game.

Charlotte High School graduate Robert Haynes and Venice alumnus Dino Fanti are on the defensive unit for Eastern Illinois, the Ohio Valley Conference champion.
