Shirley Waneen Henshaw, 74, of North Port, Fla., passed away Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013.

She was born Oct. 17, 1938, in Washington, D.C., to Howard and Margaret Wall.

Shirley is survived by her children, Tracy (Audrey) Henshaw, Lynn Beck, Mark (Theresa) Henshaw, Carla Giampaglia, Kerri (Allan) Davis, Laura Chimento and Becky Shasteen; stepchildren, Eugene Elmore Henshaw Jr., Sharon (Chuck) Queisser and Debra (Don) McShirley; 29 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Howard Wall Jr., Charles Wall, Sonia Wiltcher, Fredrick Wall and Curtis Wall. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Elmore Henshaw Sr.; and brother, David Wall.

Visitation will take place from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at McKee Funeral Home, 14538 Tamiami Trail, North Port. Burial will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla.
