Marsha Lane Hall Moore

Marsha Lane Hall Moore, 76, of Jacksonville Beach, Fla., formerly of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., and North Port, Fla., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012.

She was born in San Antonio, Texas.

Marsha lived in McAllen, Texas, and Denton, Texas, where she attended North Texas State University, and was a member of Kappa Delta sorority. She and her husband Arthur were married in Ft. Chaffee, Ark., in 1957, and began a military life of change of station and travels. The family lived in Massachusetts, Georgia, Hawaii, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Germany, South Carolina, and Kentucky prior to their move to North Port in 1979. Marsha was an avid and accomplished golfer and member of Sabal Trace Country Club and Kingsway Country Club, and was active in local and regional women’s golf associations. She moved to Ponte Vedra Beach in 2006.

Marsha is survived by her daughter, Tracy Moore (Daniel) Ramseur of Ponte Vedra Beach; grandson, SSgt Daniel Lane Ramseur of Shreveport, La.; and her brother, Terry (Carol) Hall, of Flagler Beach, Fla. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Arthur James Moore (SGM, Ret.) who passed away in 2003, in North Port.
