District to join Imagine in court

SARASOTA COUNTY — Sarasota County School Board members on Tuesday directed board attorney Art Hardy to intervene in the pending lawsuit filed against Imagine School at North Port by its parent company, Imagine Schools Inc.

Hardy will be involved in the mediation between the city’s only charter school and its parent company ordered by 12th Circuit Court Judge Charles Williams on Monday. Until now, Hardy has been attending court hearings about the case in Sarasota, but never spoke.
