WARM MINERAL SPRINGS — AMVETS Post 2000, at 401 Ortiz Blvd., is hosting a benefit for the Fisher House starting at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 9 at the post. Chicken and ribs with sides will be served for a donation. There will be drink specials, raffles, 50-50s, games, auctions, music all day by Tim & Roseanne and karaoke in the evening by Gary.

Proceeds from the benefit will be donated to the Fisher House, which provides a “home away from home” for military families to be close to a loved one during hospitalization for an illness, disease or injury.
