NORTH PORT — Firefighters spent Monday morning working to extinguish a mulch fire at the chipper mill in North Port Estates.
Thick smoke clouded Joe Jeff Street and part of the neighborhood from the blaze that began around 5:45 a.m. on three-quarters of an acre at the mill.
