NORTH PORT — Entries are sought for the Early Bird Kiwanis-sponsored Holiday Card Lane, which will be on display at City Center near North Port City Hall from Nov. 29-Jan. 8. Area groups, clubs, businesses, families and organizations are invited to participate with a plywood card. Card requirements are on the registration form, which can be picked up at the North Port Sun office near the Chevron station at U.S. 41 and Eager Street.

Cost to enter is $25; registration form and payment is due by Nov. 21. The cards, with the theme “Holiday Family Fun,” must be dropped off at the George Mullen Activity Center by noon Nov. 26. No advertising allowed. Cards will be available for viewing Nov. 29, along with the lighting of the City Christmas Tree at 6 p.m. Refreshments will be served, and area school children will offer musical performances.
