The Lemon Bay Chord Company is inviting barbershop music lovers to attend their “Hometown Christmas” show at 7 p.m. on Friday at the United Methodist Church in Englewood. The groups program includes inspiring hymns, joyful carols and jolly tunes that will help ring in the Christmas holiday season. Announcer Jack Gillespie will begin by introducing the 26 singers and their theme song “Christmas Eve in my Home Town.” The program will feature all-time favorites: “Jingle-Bell Rock,” “Hark the Herald Angels Sing,” “Angels we have Heard on High,” “Up on the House Top,” “It Came upon a Midnight Clear,” and “Silent Night.”

Three Quartets will perform as well during the first and second halves of the show: “Sound Waves” with “Let it Snow”; “Leisure 4” with “Winter Wonderland”; and “Suncoast Harmony” with “It’s Christmas All Over Town.”
